Context

  • Lab of Content is a service for businesses that need website content created, rewritten or repaired. Its positioning is deliberately centred on human-created content rather than AI-generated content.

Challenge

  • Businesses often have pages that technically exist but do not answer buyer questions clearly, distinguish one service from another or give search and AI systems enough useful information to understand the business.

Focus

  • Improve existing pages where possible, create new content only where there is a real gap, and preserve the service’s human-written positioning.

Implementation

  • The service is being structured around two jobs: create content where something important is missing and fix content where a page already exists but is not doing its job. The writing itself remains human-created.

Measurement

Discovery and visibility can be reviewed as the website develops.

What this shows

  • Content volume is not the objective. Useful coverage is.
  • Sometimes the highest-value content action is fixing or consolidating what already exists.
